Frequently asked questions

  1. What do I need to bring to class and what should I wear?
Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. Wear something comfortable that you can move in. This could be your fanciest leggings or your baggiest t-shirt, whatever works best for you. You may like to bring a blanket or extra layers for Shavasana (relaxation) at the end of the class

  2. What should I expect from your Vinyasa Flow class?
Vinyasa is a style of yoga that links dynamic, flowing movements with the breath. Classes will have a similar structure and some repeated poses each week to help you build-up your practice and see your progress. Classes will start with centering exercises to calm the mind, a gentle warm-up, flow sequences, cool down and Shavasana (relaxation), and may include specific stretching, strengthening and balancing postures, Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation.

  3. What if I'm a beginner or I can't do a pose?
Beginners are absolutely welcome! I will give options and modifications throughout the class, everyone is welcome to go at their own pace and you can take a rest at any time. I want you to find your yoga and some days that means challenging yourself and other days that means being more gentle. You are also welcome to bring any props to class, e.g., blocks and straps, to aid your practice.

  4. What if I have an injury, medical issue or health concern?
Please contact me before attending the class. Yoga can be a excellent tool for recovery but always listen to your body and never stay in a pose if you feel any pain. Upon booking a class you confirm to the Terms & Conditions, including the health declaration, please read these policies carefully prior to booking and let me know of any questions.
